Claire Duncan paints the natural world in diptychs, which are two pieces that together describe the yin and yang of two ideas, whether it be the beauty and the pain experienced when we contemplate human impacts on our environment, or the ideas of representation and abstraction. Claire’s paintings of animals have been exhibited nationwide and are held in museum permanent collections. She has been featured on Oregon Art Beat and is represented by Hanson Howard Gallery.
