Ilene Gienger-Stanfield thought that she would forever be a consummate pastel portrait painter. However, Ilene’s art journey has presented her with curiosity and options which include investigating techniques, mediums, subjects, and creativity. She desires this exploration and the excitement and inspiration that it accompanies. Currently, Ilene is enjoying the use of oils as well as pastels, various subjects, and the journey toward a more intuitive style.
