Art & Soul Ashland - Shelli Walters, Wanderings

Currently featured at Art & Soul Ashland are mixed media paintings by Shelli Walters. Shelli's compositions explore her personal experiences wandering the wild spaces of mountains, canyons, high deserts, lakes, rivers, and ocean islands in the Pacific Northwest. As she describes, she loves tapping into the memory and feeling of a place, then seeing it re-emerge on a canvas. Ultimately, nature has so many differences, yet everything plays together so beautifully, and Shelli believes that is what makes it so appealing and alive.
