Art & Soul Ashland - Water, Alice Niemiec

Currently featured at Art & Soul Ashland are paintings by Alice Niemiec that celebrate the beauty and essence of water in all of its forms - flowing, shimmering, and full of life. Alice grew up in the area of Detroit. In the early 1970's, she studied painting at Arts and Crafts - Center for Creative Studies, in Detroit. After art school, she co-founded The Artist Guild of Detroit, a guild and gallery, funded by General Motors, promoting young artists in the area. Alice has exhibited in juried shows around the country, including the Michigan Watercolor Society, Woodstock School of Art, and the California State Fair. Now residing in Ashland, she paints with watercolors and oils.
