Ashland Art Works - Elizabeth Ellingson and Cheryl Kempner

Currently featured at Ashland Art Works is handmade jewelry and mixed media paintings by Elizabeth Ellingson, and metal sculptures by Cheryl Kempner. Elizabeth's handmade jewelry is made with her own custom cut cabochons and stones set in unique sterling silver and hand fabricated settings. When she isn't creating jewelry, she also enjoys making mixed media paintings using a unique technique that resembles a printmaker using found ephemera and custom created collage materials. Alternatively, Cheryl enjoys making whimsical metal sculptures from salvaged steel. She cuts with a plasma torch and her husband welds everything together. She has fun cutting various shapes that would be perfect for a garden, as well as shapes that make her viewers smile. Additionally, in the Community Gallery, is artwork by students at Ashland Middle School.
Don't forget to join them for First Friday Art Walk on Friday, May 2, from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
