KS Wild - Poetry and Painting with Betty LaDuke and Peter Van Fleet

Currently featured at KS Wild are paintings by Peter Van Fleet. Using styrene as a ground for his work, Peter enjoys the material due to its three dimensionality and ability to cast playful shadows. Building his compositions with multiple layers, this adds a visual and structural texture. During First Friday Art Walk, an impromptu poetry reading by Betty LaDuke will take place. For more than sixty years, Betty has traversed the globe as an artist and activist, bringing her sketchbook and camera to hundreds of villages across the world. These experiences have inspired Betty's paintings, as well as her poetry and prints.
