Currently featured at ART on FIRST are wildlife paintings by Erin Linton. Erin's artwork brings together her love for wildlife, her passion for art, and her taste for tea. She paints with gouache on used teabags. The recycling process usually begins with inspiration to paint a bird or raptor that she has encountered or rescued, then continues with saving teabags. Because their muted colors and textures enhance the natural qualities of fur and feathers, incorporating teabags provides a softness and warmth that mirrors the creatures that she paints.
Don't forget to join them for First Friday Art Walk, taking place October 4, from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
