Currently featured at Ashland Art Works are paintings by Michael Gibson and glass sculptures by Dan and Stef Seffinger. Inspired by a recent three week trip to Utah, Michael has created an outpouring of paintings utilizing oils, watercolors, and sketches that are influenced by the state’s natural grandeur and diverse beauty. Alternatively, Dan and Stef have created a plethora of luminous and colorful glass sculptures utilizing a variety of techniques.
Additionally, in the Community Gallery, are sculptures by Erika Dreager. Erika began exploring kiln-formed glass in 2019. She fell in love with the process of pâte de verre and the freedom of form that it offered. Now, she focuses much of her practice on this hands-on technique. As an autistic artist, Erika uses glass as a means of exploring and understanding her emotions and experiences.
Don't forget to join them for First Friday Art Walk, taking place August 2, from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
