Currently featured at KS Wild are photographs by Steve Koskella. Steve has always felt a part of nature. Growing up on a ranch in Southern Idaho, his father took him into the vast and primitive areas at an early age. Steve remembers riding horses into mountain and lake vistas that few had ever laid eyes on. He tried to follow the family tradition by going to the College of Forestry at the University of Idaho, joining the US Forest Service, only to find himself putting wild areas under 'management' that denigrated the intricacy of nature. Going his own way, he resigned and became a commercial fisherman in Alaska, later developing a passion for wildlife photography.
Don't forget to join them for First Friday Art Walk, taking place September 6, from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
