Currently featured at KS Wild are prints by Vanessa Jo Bahr. Vanessa creates prints as a form of activism and land stewardship that fosters mutualism and intimacy facilitated by the reciprocal act of printmaking. Through illustration, she conjures feelings of deep reverence for our inherent bond with plant and animal kin before they fade into distant memories due to human negligence. Vanessa's creative practice implores her viewers to reflect on their ecological interactions and she hopes that acknowledgment of past digressions will inspire a revision of our impact as co-habitants on shared land.
