Rogue Gallery & Art Center - Artist Talk with Kristen O'Neill and Wildfire Presentation with Ron Reed
Join Rogue Gallery & Art Center, Kristen O'Neill, and Ron Reed for an Artist Talk and Wildfire Presentation. Moved by the transformation brought by forest fires, Kristen created a series of landscape paintings that evoke the passion of flames, the recovery, and the beginning of the next cycle for the forest. Using encaustic, oil, acrylic, and wildfire charcoal, each of her compositions explore the Slater, Chetco, and Biscuit Fires in the Kalmiopsis Wilderness, the Archie Creek Fire along the Umpqua River, and beyond.
