Join the Schneider Museum of Art for a Creative Industries Discussion with Kara Rooney. Kara is an interdisciplinary artist and critic working in performance, sculpture, and site-specific installation. Language is the driving force behind her work, which aims to provide meaningful and distinct encounters between individuals through the creation of built environments, collaboration, poetry, and movement. In addition to her visual work, Kara has held various positions as an art critic, visiting lecturer, and guest curator, most notably as Artseen Editor for The Brooklyn Rail.
