Currently featured at The Gallery at the Ashland Independent Film Festival is digital artwork by Dave Leibowitz and Beca Blake. Dave is an East Coast transplant, bringing with him fifty years of fascination with photography, collage, and experimental filmmaking. His artwork is visually diverse, moving between old school vintage photography and more challenging digital or physical collage. Similarly, Beca is an interdisciplinary and community-based artist trained in contemporary fine art. Her participation in this exhibition is a statement of post-pandemic life, alchemically transforming hardships into lightheartedness through the engagement of a conceptual art practice.
