Using mostly reclaimed materials, I create art of all kinds: botanical portraits of local flora collaged with upcycled fabrics, mixed media “fantastical botanicals” pulled from my imagination, found-object secular altars, and more. Working with pre-existing source materials means that my artistic process is an act of transformation as much as of creation. The element of chance is ever-present. I’m inspired by portraiture, botanical illustrations, graphic design, and the souls & stories of reclaimed materials.
