Extensive travel always included visits to museums and art galleries inspiring the desire to create art. After retiring to Ashland and some art classes, I was able to combine my love for art and my dogs. It lead to illustrating and publishing a children’s book based on a poem my granddaughter Eva Dugre wrote. Zilli and the Butterfly is available at Bloomsbury and Treehouse bookstores in Ashland and Rebel Heart in Jacksonville.
