I am a ceramic artist who specializes in sgraffito, a freehand clay carving technique which results in my ceramic pieces looking like woodcut prints. Perfecting this method over the past twenty years I’ve lived in the Rogue Valley, I am currently expanding into printmaking and illustration as well. The result is a wonderful conversation across three mediums about ideas I am interested in—connections with the natural world, history, attention to the disregarded, and the power of story.
