My love of birdwatching, travel, and nature provides lots of inspiration for my woodcarving and painting. I use a variety of wood types and whatever technique suits the project. From driftwood to cypress knees, from cottonwood bark to walnut, all wood provides infinite possibilities. Watercolor and acrylic painting include portraits, landscapes and birds. My teachers include nationally renowned woodcarvers that inspired my love of creating. As an award-winning artist, I know it takes practice and time to find satisfaction in your work.
